This is not just a marathon; its a movement. Blending sport, sustainability and tourism, the marathon is designed to: Position Malindi as Africa’s leading eco-conscious sports tourism destination. Champion the fight against plastic pollution under the theme: “ Running Against a Tide of Plastic Pollution” Catalyze investment in a circular economy model,including the proposed Malindi Circular Economy Hub.
